Some programmes may have ‘Masters’ in their title but are at SCQF Descriptor Level 12, such as Master of Surgery (ChM), and are therefore not eligible for this scholarship.
Who Can Apply? Applicants must be nationals and residents of specific countries, primarily from the categories of ‘Least Developed Countries’, ‘Other low income Countries’ and ‘Lower Middle Income Countries’ as stated by the Organisation for Economic Corporation and Development Assistance Committee. Application Process Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement.
